The Davis Creek Rounders, a locally loved group, is composed of guitarists Ken Wagoner, Dennis Crider and Rick Cochran, with Marideth Sisco sitting in on vocals. They are all long-time players, singers and collectors of old-time Ozarks ballads and traditional folk tunes who can sometimes be roused from their traditional Thursday nights at Rick's to come out and play for others.

Davis Creek is the old mail route that goes by Rick's house. Rounder is a term currently out of favor in modern English but which once meant such things as "disorderly, reckless, wild, unrestrained by convention or marked by a carefree unconventionality" – all terms by which these mature specimens wish they were once known. Instead, they are known amongst themselves and their fans, affectionately, as "the Seed Tick Pickers."
